How to Create an Experiment

Add experiment ideas into the backlog from analysis results.

Step 1: Run an analysis first

  1. Follow the steps from "How to Generate An Analysis" to generate an analysis for your target page.

Step 2: Navigate to the Experiments tab

  1. Once the analysis is complete, click the Experiments tab (the test tube icon) at the top of the left results panel.
  2. The left panel will display a list of auto-generated experiments, each with a Prioritization Score.

Step 3: Review an experiment's details

  1. Click any experiment in the left panel to view its full details in the right panel, which includes:
    1. Approve Experiment button
    2. Full experiment description
    3. Tags (e.g., Comprehension, Value proposition)
    4. Prioritization Score with a radar chart showing Potential, Ease, and Importance
    5. Variations — pre-defined variant options (e.g., "Direct CRO Category Headline", "Outcome First Headline Pair")
    6. Evidence, UX Observations, and Best Practices

Step 4: Approve the experiment

  1. Click the Approve Experiment button at the top of the details panel.

  2. After approving, the platform will automatically navigate to the Backlog view for that experiment.

Step 5: View the experiment in the Backlog

  1. In the Backlog, you can see the experiment as a card with a thumbnail, tags, description, and timestamp.
  2. Click the experiment card to open its Lupine Lab view, which shows "Visualize your ideas in action" with a side-by-side comparison of Control and Variants.
