Manage billing, tokens and common issues

This article covers account administration, token usage and the checks that resolve the most common Spirea issues.

How do I invite and manage users?

  1. Go to Settings → Organization Users.
  2. Invite the person by email.
  3. Set their organisation role: Organization admin, Team admin or User.
  4. Add them to one or more teams.

An organisation role alone does not grant data access. If a new starter cannot see anything, check their team membership and workspace assignment first.

To create a team, go to Settings → Teams, click New Team, name the team, add members and assign it to the required workspaces with a default permission. Team admins automatically receive full access to every workspace assigned to their team.

 How do I manage billing?

Go to Settings → Billing. Spirea and Lupine have separate cards. The Spirea card shows the status, current plan, renewal date and actions for Change Plan, Update payment and Cancel.

To acquire a subscription:

  1. Open Settings → Billing, or click View plans from Token Usage.
  2. On the Spirea card, click Change Plan.
  3. Choose a plan based on the monthly generation volume you expect.
  4. Complete payment through Stripe.
  5. Your token allowance becomes available and refreshes on renewal.

Plans differ by generation volume, not headcount. Invoice history is available on the Billing page; full invoice, tax and payment details are managed in the Stripe billing portal.

How do tokens work?

Tokens meter AI generation and are separate from seats. Each generated image costs 4 tokens. A variant is produced in every aspect ratio for the selected platform, so one variant can be several images.

For Meta:

  • 1 variant produces 4 images and costs 16 tokens.
  • 3 variants produce 12 images and cost 48 tokens.
  • 10 variants produce 40 images and cost 160 tokens.

Open Settings → Token Usage to see the remaining allowance and recent token activity. Without an active plan, the allowance is zero and generation is unavailable, although analysis, reporting and dashboards continue to work.
