User Roles and Permissions
*NOTE: GAIN IQ Teams and Team Membership are not currently utilized in GAIN IQ or Lupine at this time, and will be used for future product features and releases. Currently, all users within an Organization can see all analyses, experiments, and variants within that organization in Lupine.
What roles exist in GAIN IQ?

| Organization Admin | Organization-Wide | Full control within their organization - manage teams, users, billing, and data connections |
| User | Organization-Wide | Create, run, and edit analyses within the teams they are assigned to; cannot manage billing or plan. |
What can an Organization Admin do?
An Organization Admin has full control within their organization, including: inviting and removing users, creating and managing Teams, managing billing and subscription, assigning and changing user roles, and viewing all analyses and reports across the organization. The first user to create an organization is automatically assigned the Organization Admin role.
What can a User do?
A User can create, run, and edit analyses and reports, upload files for analysis, export results, and share results with team members within teams they are a member of. Users can also create new teams and manage permissions of users within a team. A User cannot manage billing or subscription, invite or remove users, or change user roles.
How do I invite a new user to my organization?
As an Organization Admin, go to App Settings → Organization Users → Create User Invitation, enter the user's first and last names, and email address within your organization's domain.
They will receive an invitation email with a link to join your Organization in Gain IQ and will be automatically associated with your organization upon accepting the invite and completing registration.Only Organization Admins can send user invitations.
How do I change a user's role?
Go to App Settings → Organization Users, find the user, and click the drop-down in the Role column of the user. Select the new role and it will automatically update. Role changes take effect immediately. An Organization Admin can change roles at the organization level.
How do I remove a user from my organization?
Go to App Settings → Organization Users, find the user, click the three dots on the far-right of the user, and click Delete User. Access to all teams and analyses are revoked immediately. Their previously contributed work remains in the workspace and is not deleted. Only an Organization Admin can remove users from the organisation entirely.
